The Safescan 50 detector allows:

  • to reveal the security features UV integrated in modern banknotes,
  • to instantly reveal the integrated UV security features in credit cards, passports, and other identity documents,
  • to reveal the UV ink used to protect valuable items against theft, or to confirm admission to an event.

The detector features a "hot start" technology that triples the usual lamp lifespan and reduces energy consumption, and is equipped with a reflector for extra powerful UV light quality.
It is compatible with all currencies and checks both old and new euro banknotes.
