Leather versus mesh: the great office chair battle
Natacha and I have a lot in common. We love animals, smileys, eloquent phrases and many other things. But we can't agree on everything and we realised that when we were talking about ... office chairs!

Leather is very pleasant to the touch. And there are many different types of leather, and most of them acquire a patina over time, giving them a vintage look. And I love that!
Maintenance
Leather is easy to clean! And since accidents do happen when you'are eating a sandwich...
Price
It is objectively true that a leather office chair is sometimes a bit expensive, but not always! In any case, leather has real qualities that justify the investment: it is a noble material, resistant and made to last.
THE MESH OFFICE CHAIR
LookIt is true that an office chair with mesh and fabric upholstery does not have the look of a leather office chair, but it can still be stylish! Mesh also has a graphic, light and very contemporary feel.
Comfort
Mesh is not very soft but has the great advantage of allowing air to circulate. Don't have air conditioning and don't want a sticky back in the middle of an open space? The mesh seat is a must-have because the breathable fibres absorb the discomfort of perspiration.
Maintenance
Of course, the fabric cover is not machine washable, but apart from an accident when eating, it can be quickly cleaned with a cloth and a vacuum cleaner.
